About John L. Timmons:

Mr. Timmons received his undergraduate degree from Truman University in Missouri, his Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado, has done graduate work in The Colorado School of Mines, The University of Colorado, and Southern Illinois Universities.

He taught eight years in an inner-city school in Denver Colorado, four years at the University of Colorado, one year at Culver Stockton College in Mo, two years at the Carthage International College in Illinois, sixteen years at Carl Sandburg College, and has been an employee at an Illinois University since 1995.

He has served in many capacities including Department Chairperson, City Wide Curriculum Chairperson in Denver, and President of the National University Club in Longmont, CO.  He has served on the boards of Directors for,  Habitat for Humanity of McDonough County, Custom Solar Design Corp., and  International Cultural Studies.  He has authored and co-authored eight-teen books and workbooks, mostly for Colorado School districts. He was the grant author and director of three movies for Nutrition Education in Colorado.
